How many grantmakers have Web sites?
A:
Many people are surprised to learn that approximately only twelve percent of grantmakers currently have web sites. Currently, out of the more than 90,000 grantmakers in the U.S., the Foundation Center has identified roughly 10,900 grantmakers that have web sites (including private foundations, company-sponsored foundations and corporate giving programs, grantmaking public charities, and community foundations). Approximately 4,000 of these are private foundations.
