I am a every day person well I thought I was. Then I got sick with Crones Disease and now my world is crashing down.I get social security and just moved from Flint,Michigan to McKinney, Texas. Well I am real sick now to ware I don't leave the house unless I go to the doctor. That is ware the problem comes in I do-not have a car. The social security has cut my money down so far that the money I had saved now has to go for rent for the next 3 months. Then I don't know what I will do.I need a car to get back and forth to the doctor.I need a norther surgery on my stomach and have no way to get there. Here they do not have public transportation. I have tried every avenue and the door gets shut in my face.I am in real need of a vehicle any kind .I have tried my church and there is nothing they can do for me.This is my last hope and well I don't know after that.God has brought me this far he will not let me down. Thank you for your time HEATHER CROOM

Because most foundation grants are restricted to qualifying nonprofit organizations, it's unlikely that you'd be able to find an outright grant to pay for a new car or your medical bills. However, those same nonprofits that receive foundation grants are set up to help individuals in need like yourself. There may be nonprofits or government programs in your area that offer such services as transportation assistance, low-cost medical care, or rent and utility assistance. Call your local United Way by dialing 2-1-1 to be connected with local service providers. You may also want to explore resources available from the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (http://www.ccfa.org/).
