Take away valuable tips on partnering with corporations.

Partnerships with corporations have traditionally provided great opportunities for nonprofits, including cash and in-kind resources, expertise, and people. However, during these difficult economic times, the kinds of opportunities for partnering have shifted.

  • How do you manage your relationships with the corporation at a time of ever shifting priorities for the corporation and for you?
  • Do you have a clear understanding of the corporation's goals for working with you?
  • Do your corporate contacts have a good understanding of your goals for working with them?
  • Do you feel like you're speaking the same language?

This workshop will provide a deeper understanding of effective nonprofit and corporate partnerships and will include advice on overcoming cross-sector barriers, negotiating mutually beneficial partnerships, and positioning your organization to deepen opportunities for employee engagement.
