Learn how to engage your board in fundraising.
It's the job of the board of trustees to ensure that an organization has the resources it needs to advance its mission. Successful fundraising occurs when a nonprofit's volunteer leadership is enthusiastically engaged in the process, and when the board of directors and the professional staff work together in a strategic and coordinated way.
This class helps you think through the process of getting your board involved with fundraising. What we will cover:
- The role of your board
- Why board members may be reluctant to fundraise and how to overcome these concerns
- Ways the board can participate in fundraising activities
- Tips for strengthening your fundraising board
